4 steps to apply the eyeliner

Step-1
Prime your eyelids. You can use a cream eyeshadow or a professional primer as a base for your liquid eyeliner to stick to. For an added effect dust some translucent powder on to the eyelids.
Step-2
Use an eyeliner pencil to trace a line from the upper eyelid lashes right close to the lash line. Do not  extend the line too close to the inner corner of the eye. Once you are comfortable with tracing the line, you can play around with different looks for the eye make up.
Step-3
Smudge the line that you drew very lightly. Most eye pencils come with a foam smudger, use that to smudge. The reason you need to smudge the line is to soften the harshness of the line and blend it so that the pencil liner does not look like a  like a distinct line.
Step-4
Now use a small pointy brush and run a line of the liquid liner over the smudged line. Use a double coat if required.
